Brown Shoe sells green shoes (St. Louis Post-Dispatch)

Eco-friendly shoes don’t have to be, well, unfriendly to the eye. That’s the message Clayton-based Brown Shoe Co. is trying to send with Naya, its new brand of women’s footwear. The shoes have bamboo heels, vegetable-tanned leathers and biodegradable latex foam used for cushioning.
